Lake Tahoe weather: Cold temperatures, little snow through Wednesday
The National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association is reporting cool, cloudy conditions for the Lake Tahoe Basin through Wednesday of this week.
While an inch or so of new snow is predicted for this morning before 11 a.m. or so, the remainder of the forecast looks clear.
Today: Snow showers likely, mainly before 11 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. Northwest wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than 1 inch possible.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 13. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. East wind around 5 mph.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. Northeast wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. East wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.
