TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The results are in for the 17th annual Jake’s Charity Fishing Derby on Lake Tahoe, which took place June 6. And the winner is a familiar face.

Rick Remondini, of Kings Beach, took home the grand prize of $1,000 after hauling in a 20.5 pound Mackinaw. It marks the fourth win for Remondini and his boating partners and#8220;Team Starfishand#8221; in the annual derby.

Terry Osmonson, of Woodland, Calif., earned second place with a 2 and 7/16-pound brown trout, good for $500, and Sam Duvall Jr., of Tahoma, placed third, earning $250 for catching a 4.25-pound rainbow trout.

Jakes on the Lake would like to extend thanks to the generous support of many local businesses, the community and volunteers. This charity event was a successful fundraiser for North Tahoe Boosters Club, said Jakes Tahoe spokesman Kerry Jones.
