Latest North Tahoe crime logs feature many ski resort-area incidences

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; The following are incident reports submitted by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office Tahoe substation during the time period of Feb. 25- March 4.

Friday, Feb. 25: An intoxicated male subject was contacted after allegedly pulling the fire alarm at 1 a.m. in a hotel located in the village of a North Shore ski resort. The subject was escorted to his room by PCSO officers and no charges were filed.

Saturday, Feb. 26: An unknown suspect removed three pairs of skis from the back of pickup truck at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 27: At 1 p.m., a report was filed regarding a known suspect who allegedly used a victimand#8217;s ski pass without his consent. The victim did not wish to press charges.

Sunday, Feb. 27: Several witnesses reported an extremely intoxicated female was allegedly pulling hair and hitting people in a bar located in the village of a North Shore ski resort. The female was apprehended and arrested for drunk in public. No other charges are pending. The incident occurred around midnight.

Monday, Feb. 28: At 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole ski equipment from a victimand#8217;s unlocked vehicle at the 100 block of West Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City.

Monday, Feb. 28: A suspect allegedly entered a victimand#8217;s residence located on Squaw Valley Road and removed the victimand#8217;s car keys at 3 a.m. The suspect then allegedly attempted to drive the victimand#8217;s car until the victim intercepted him. The suspect then fled the scene without further incident, and no arrest information was made available.

Wednesday, March 2: An irate male customer allegedly ripped the metal from the ticket window of a North Shore ski resort and threw it at the ticket clerk. No injuries were suffered and no arrest information was made available. The incident occurred at 1 p.m.

Wednesday, March 2: At 2 p.m., a possibly known subject allegedly slashed three out of four tires on a victimand#8217;s vehicle on Rainbow Avenue in Kings Beach.

Wednesday, March 2: A male subject was arrested on two outstanding Placer County warrants at Rue Ivy in Truckee. The arrest occurred at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, March 4: At 9:30 a.m., an unknown suspect stole a flatscreen television from a vacation rental located in Carnelian Bay.

Friday, March 4: At 4 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a flatscreen television from a vacation rental located in Tahoe Vista.
