Latest police logs include man cited for battery after using leaf blower to cover other man, his car in pollen
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are Truckee Police reports from the week of July 8-14.
At midnight a temporary restraining order was issued by Nevada County Superior Court.
At 5 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury collision.
At 2:15 p.m. on Glenshire Drive a citizen called to report a possible driver under the influence. Police located the driver allegedly passed out in her vehicle, and arrested her for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 8:40 p.m. on West River Street a person allegedly violated a domestic violence temporary restraining order.
At 10:50 p.m. on White Fir Road police arrested a subject allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine.
At 9 a.m. on Palisade Street two people got into an argument over a parking space. One person allegedly used a leaf blower to blow pollen and dirt at the other person and his car. The second person wanted the first arrested and signed a citizen arrest form. The first person was cited and released for battery.
At 10:40 a.m. on Pinnacle Loop an unknown person allegedly removed a $1,350 bicycle from a garage.
At 10:05 p.m. on Brockway Road police stopped a vehicle for a code violation and the driver allegedly provided a false name. Police arrested the driver.
At 11:15 p.m. on Palisades Drive police took a report of theft from a local business.
At 8:30 a.m. on Pioneer Trail Reno Police requested Truckee Police look out for a vehicle stolen in Reno. Police located and recovered the vehicle. A subject was located and arrested, then released due to medical complications.
At midnight on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle after observing it stop in the roadway for no apparent reason, and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
At 12:15 p.m. on West River Street a person reported a fight among multiple male adults and juveniles. When officers arrived, the alleged aggressors were intercepted trying to leave.
At 10:50 p.m. on Glenshire Drive police stopped a vehicle for speeding, traveling into the oncoming lane, and traveling outside the white outer line. Police arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.
At 8:30 a.m. on Highway 89 South police responded to a vehicle accident.
