Latest Truckee police logs include alleged theft of a cheesburger
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are Truckee Police reports from the week of June 9 to June 16.
At 7:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a person allegedly damaged a vehicle and failed to report the collision or admit involvement.
At 10:25 a.m. on Old Brockway Road police received a report of an older white male allegedly passed out on the roadway edge. Upon contact, police arrested the subject for being under the influence of intoxicating beverages and unable to care for himself.
At 1 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported his phone allegedly stolen.
At 3 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a woman allegedly slapped another person, who signed a citizenand#8217;s arrest form. Police cited and released the woman for battery.
At 5 p.m. on River Park Place an unknown person allegedly stole the CB radio from a dump truck in a dirt parking lot.
At 6 p.m. on Donner Pass Road property found along the roadway was turned into the sheriffand#8217;s office.
At 9:40 p.m. on Deerfield Drive police located and arrested a person with an outstanding warrant.
At 10:55 p.m. on Northwoods Boulevard police cited and released a subject for alleged battery.
At 12:20 a.m. on Olympic Boulevard police received a report of a and#8220;domestic dispute love triangle,and#8221; and forwarded the case to the district attorney.
At 10:50 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported an employee had allegedly been embezzling money. The investigator and officer confronted the employee, who allegedly admitted to her involvement, and was arrested.
At 5:10 p.m. on Boulders Road police took the report of identity theft from 1998.
At 5:25 p.m. on Dorchester Drive two people reported juveniles allegedly attempting to start a fight, allegedly under the influence. Police located the juveniles, and arrested one for allegedly being extremely intoxicated.
At 7:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 10:20 p.m. on Northwoods Boulevard police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 12:15 a.m. on Highway 89 police stopped a vehicle for code violations and found the driver to be under the age of 21, and allegedly under the influence of alcohol, and possibly a stimulant. During the probable cause search, prescription amphetamine pills were allegedly located in a plastic bag with no prescription. Police arrested the driver.
At 1:35 a.m. on Highway 89 police received reports of an allegedly intoxicated person driving. Police later located and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 2 a.m. on Jibboom Street police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 1:55 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a guardian reported threats allegedly being made against her granddaughter on Facebook by a former friend. Police contacted that personand#8217;s parents and advised them of the incident.
At 8:20 p.m. on Brockway Road police stopped a vehicle observed doing doughnuts in a parking lot. Police cited one juvenile for alleged possession of a marijuana pipe, and found the driver to be on juvenile probation.
At 10:40 p.m. on Saint Albans Place a mother reported her juvenile son on probation allegedly did not return home as she instructed. The incident was documented for probation to review.
At 12:45 a.m. on Village Way police responded to a report of alleged domestic violence. Police found the female party had suffered a laceration to her face after her husband allegedly punched her. The woman was treated by Truckee Fire Protection District and transported to Tahoe Forest Hospital. Police arrested the husband.
At 4:30 p.m. on Truckee Airport Road a VIN verification request resulted in the recovery of a motorcycle reported stolen in Reno. The motorcycle was apparently purchased by a Truckee resident unaware it was stolen.
At 5 p.m. on River Park Place a person reported his work vehicles had allegedly been burglarized.
At 6 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police received a report of a bicycle allegedly stolen from private property.
At 9:35 a.m. on Manchester Driver a bicycle was found in a field and turned into Truckee police.
At 10:10 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a student reported her purse allegedly stolen.
At 2 p.m. on Alder Drive a person reported the alleged theft of an electronic handheld game.
At 9 p.m. on Palisades Drive a juvenile allegedly took several items from a store without paying, and allegedly refused to pay when confronted by a store clerk.
At 2 p.m. on Brockway Road police responded to a domestic disturbance between parents. During the course of the verbal argument one parent allegedly accidentally drove over the foot of the other parent while attempting to leave. Both parties allegedly agreed there was no intent to cause injury.
At 4:45 p.m. on Palisades Drive a witness reported the alleged theft of a cheeseburger from a local convenience store.
