Letter to the Editor: Donate to the Tahoe City fireworks
The Tahoe City Downtown Association was thrilled to host one of the communityand#8217;s most time-honored traditions and#8212; the annual Tahoe City fireworks show on the Fourth of July. Thousands of our friends, family, visitors and neighbors came out to enjoy the best show in years. The weather was great, restaurants and shops were full and everyone had a great time.
You may have seen TCDA volunteers working hard to raise money to pay for the big fireworks show. There simply isnand#8217;t budget from tax dollars to support the show. The fireworks are entirely funded by grants and gifts from generous organizations and individuals like you. Your support is tremendously appreciated, especially during our challenging economic climate.
If you enjoy having the annual fireworks shows at the north shore of Lake Tahoe, please donate. Any amount is of great benefit. Itand#8217;s easy to do online at:

If you and/or your organization have already given this year, please accept our grateful thanks.
