Letter to the Editor: If you don’t like our rules, stay away

This is in response to Judy Marino’s letter in Wednesday’s paper, “Is there no law enforcement in Tahoe anymore?”

I, too, don’t like the attitude of the people who ride bicycles, and some dogs are a pain in the butt.

Over the 65 years I have lived in these mountains, all I have seen are rules. Rules and signs.

The flatlanders come up and want their city rules. The locals want their laid-back community.

Here’s my rule: If you don’t like our rules, stay away.

This used to be a beautiful little community. Look what has happened in the last 50 years.

Road construction, houses everywhere, no beach access … just too many people ruining the lake.
