Letter to the Editor: Religion is full of hypocrisy
While Mr. Sweigert has the right to support the churchand#8217;s First Amendment rights to the separation of church and state, the church crossed that boundary, years ago, when they excepted taxpayer money to support their hospitals and schools to spread their religious propaganda.
And while Iand#8217;m talking about hypocrisy and religion and#8212; God sent Moses down the mountain with 10 commandments, not just and#8220;Thou shalt not killand#8221; (which is the center of this issue).
What happened to the other nine? I never hear of anybody passing laws to honor your mother and father or to not be an adulterer. I left religion years ago mostly because of the hypocrisy.
