Letter to the Editor: Some advice for Caltrans street sweepers

I donand#8217;t wish here to disparage those street-sweeping Caltrans crews who are just trying to keep busy every night in a season where there isnand#8217;t as much snow to plow as there normally is, but do you think that once in awhile you can swing over and hit the yellow dividing line on the road?

Since for the sake of public safety and legality traffic needs to see that yellow line, especially on the higher speed corridors like Highway 89, and apparently itand#8217;s necessary to turn the basin into a dust bowl nightly, maybe the road can be swept in a way as to make it safer.

Yellow lines visible at night are a good thing.
