Letter to the Editor: Thank you for the hospitality

On a recent trip to Tahoe with my family, we stopped in Truckee for some pizza. We found ourselves at Best Pies for a great lunch before heading home. After a long three-hour drive I was shocked to realize that I forgot my purse back in Truckee. My cellphone, money, credit cards and keys to our Thule containing our luggage were all in my purse. Needless to say, I was frantic. Luckily, I realized that I had left it at lunch and called Best Pies. I was immediately put at ease by Elise and Courtney. They assured me that my purse and all its contents would be safe with them.It took three days to get my purse picked up, and with a little extra help from Elise and Courtney, FedEx got my purse to me with all contents in tact.I would like to thank Elise and Courtney for being so kind and for going the extra mile to help me out of this jam. I canandamp;#8217;t wait until my next trip to Tahoe andamp;#8212; I will definitely be stopping in to say a proper andamp;#8220;Thank Youandamp;#8221; to Elise and Courtney.Tere HansonAlameda, Calif.
