Letter to the Editor: We’re PO’d at locals’ attitude of entitlement

We’re not PO’d at the strict towing policy at the Truckee Post Office – we’re PO’d when we go to the Post Office to pick up our mail and every single space in the lot is taken (including the disabled space, occupied by a vehicle with no disabled placard or plate), and there are exactly three people in the Post Office including us.

We’re PO’d when we see an elderly or disabled person trying to get his or her mail, but giving up because all the spaces have been taken up by people who are partying over at Bar of America.

We’re PO’d at the attitude of entitlement some people have developed (locals and tourists alike) that allows them to regard the Post Office parking lot as their own personal Free Parking Zone.
