Letter to the Editor: Whereand#8217;s Walmart and Costco?
I for one am tired of the games the stores in Truckee play making you jump through hoops in order to get a discount. Half the time, the sticker advertising a discount does not apply or is out of date. Truckee merchants act like we owe them something while the truth is they owe us, honesty, if they want our business.
Bring in a Walmart or Costco. Bet they act more like merchants then. It is no wonder the downtown looks like the beginning of a ghost town.
