INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. and#8212; The summer Western Mountain Resort Association meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 16, at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village, Nev. This is in conjunction with NAR’s Resort and Second Home Symposium being held June 13-15, also at the Hyatt.

Held every 18 months, the symposium and#8212; launched in 2003 in Los Cabos, Mexico and#8212; is a networking and educational event for Realtors who already have their Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist certification or are attending the symposium to earn their certification. The symposium offers all attendees a variety of educational events, seminars, property tours and social gatherings.

Details of the symposium can be found at http://www.resortsymposium.com. The highly acclaimed WMRA panel discussion will be held on the morning of Wednesday, June 16. This is a highlight of each WMRA event. A representative from each of the member boards delivers data and advises what is going on in each of their markets. Since it is a membership benefit, there is no cost of attending this panel discussion. The WMRA board of directors meeting will be held on Wednesday afternoon. All members of WMRA are invited to attend.

The Sierra Sun will use Cover It Live technology to broadcast Wednesday’s meeting on its website at http://www.sierrasun.com as well as other newspapers in resort markets, including the Summit Daily News and Vail Daily in Colorado. We encourage residents and readers to participate in the live discussion.
