In 4-1 vote, Placer supes approve Squaw Valley development project

Plenty of supporters and opponents to the Squaw project were on hand at the August meeting of the Placer County Planning Commission.

KINGS BEACH, Calif. — The Placer County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 Tuesday evening to approve the Village at Squaw Valley development plan.

Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery, the lone Tahoe-area representative in Placer County, voted against.

The approval came a few minutes before 7 p.m. Tuesday PST, after a roughly 10-hour meeting that featured several hours of commentary.
