7:40 a.m. – Voting results from 2:00 a.m. showed Cindy Gustafson maintained her lead for Placer County Supervisor District 5 at 54.21% (15,856) with Wayne Nader at 45.67% (13,358).

David Diamond leads the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board race at 25.80% (2,289). Teresa O’Dette followed with 20.79% (1,845), Greg Horvath at 14.09% (1,250), Birch Entriken, 1,222, Timothy P. Devine, 1,204, and Bill Greeno, 1,052.

Rob Darzynkiewicz eked out a narrow lead of 35.01% (2,055), with Alyce Wong following at a close 33.17% (1,947), and Bob Barnett taking 31.61% (1,855).

Dan Wilkins remained in the lead the Tahoe Public Utility District Director with 30.48% (931). Judy Friedman followed at 25.54% of votes (780), Ellie Beals at 20.14% (615), Greg Mickiewicz, 13.29% (406), and Blake Herrschaft, 10.25% (313).

In the Truckee Donner Public Utility District Race, Jeff Bender is in the lead at 24.04% (169) with Barney Dewey close behind at 17.92% (126). The other five candidates received neck and neck votes: Cristobal Martinez, 90, Courtney Murrell, 85, Steve Randall, 83, Dow Costa, 79, and Mark Hydar, 71.

9:50 p.m. – As vote counts continue to trickle, Gustafson keeps her lead in the Placer County Supervisor District 5 race. She’s currently sitting at 57.45% (11,554) and Wayne Nader has 42.53%, (8,552).

8:20 p.m. – Initial results have Cindy Gustafson up by nearly 3,000 votes with 11,268 votes to Wayne Nader’s 8,306 votes.

In the Truckee Tahoe Airport District Board race, David Diamond sits in the lead at 27.28% with 1,680. Teresa O’Dette has 20.51% with 1,263. Birch Entriken, 872, Greg Horvath, 853 and Timothy Devine, 822 trail, with Bill Greeno bringing up the rear at 10.85% with 668.

The Tahoe Forest Health District race is neck and neck with Robert Darzynkiewicz at 34.8% with 1,420, Alyce Wong at 33.16% at 1,353 and Bob Barnett at with 31.94% with 1,303.

In the Tahoe City Public Utility District Race, Dan Wilkins currently has 30.83% with 603 votes, Judy Friedman has 25.97% with 508, Ellie Beals has 21.27% with 416, Greg Mickiewicz has 12.42% with 243 and Blake Herrschaft has 9.51% with 186.

In the Truckee Donner Public Utility District Race, Jeff Bender is at 25% with 142, Barney Dewey is at 17.78% with 101, Courtney Murrell, Steve Randall, Cristobal Martinez, Dow Costa and Mark Hydar are all below 14%.
