TRUCKEE, Calif. — Alicia Barr is Truckee’s new mayor, the town announced last week.

Truckee Town Council voted to reorganize its members at the Dec. 9 meeting. Barr, who was first elected in 2012, replaces Patrick Flora, who served as mayor in 2014.

Joan deRyk Jones will be vice mayor in 2015, while Flora, Carolyn Wallace Dee and Morgan Goodwin will be council members.

Flora and Wallace Dee were reelected by Truckee voters this November. Goodwin is a newcomer to the council, replacing Mark Brown, who lost in his bid for reelection.

Regular council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Town Hall at 10183 Truckee Airport Road. The next meeting is set for Dec. 23 at that time.
