TRUCKEE, Calif. — The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating a man missing in Truckee since Jan. 1.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., on Jan. 13, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person in the Hirschdale area of Truckee.

Christopher T. Blaisdell, 47, was last seen on or about Jan. 1, walking away from his residence on Floriston Avenue toward Iceland Road.

He has not been seen or heard from since, according to an NCSO statement earlier this month.

A ground search was conducted around the area he was last seen with negative results.

Blaisdell is described as being 6 feet tall, 220 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information can contact NCSO at 530-265-1471.
