Boy Scout Troop 266 is holding its annual Christmas tree-selling fundraiser in Tahoe City.
The Boy Scouts are selling white and silver firs, which are harvested north of Truckee with permits issued by the United States Forest Service.
The trees are sold in front of the Safeway grocery store in Tahoe City from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
The trees sell for $6 per foot; stands are available at an extra cost. The trees are restocked weekly, until they run out.
All proceeds directly help the Boy Scouts 266 of Tahoe City.
