Shawn brings 13 years of experience in bodywork and will be treating from the new office at the Healing Center on Mondays and Wednesdays. Shawn has been in the bodywork industry since 2001 practicing as a licensed massage therapist in South Lake Tahoe. Shawn returned to the Lake Tahoe region and has since received full body, long tract nerve entrapment certifications and most recently training in complex protocol.

As an avid mountain biker, surfer and a former competitive snowboarder, Shawn has personal experience in healing from injuries. He has a wealth of knowledge in not only Active Release Techniques, but myofascial deep tissue release as well as sports and injury massage and muscle energy techniques.

“Shawn Grisier is the missing link in keeping our bodies functioning and recovering,” said Karen Stubbs LMT. “I’m very impressed with his expertise and execution in Active Release Techniques.”

The CR Johnson Healing Center is located at 10775 Pioneer Trail, Ste. 108 in Truckee, a program service of the High Fives Non-Profit Foundation that provides resources for athletes in recovery from sport related injuries. Resources include: physical therapy, Pilates, massage, personal training and more. Visit
