Easter morning service at High Camp

The Squaw Valley Chapel with the cooperation of Squaw Valley USA will offer an Easter morning resurrection celebration at High Camp, 8 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013. Free round-trip passage on the cable car beginning at 7 a.m. will be offered to all attending the service without skis or snowboards. Light refreshment will be available for early arrivals at the mountain top. The 50-minute service will be led by the Rev. Art Domingue with the Chapel’s music leader and members of the congregation. Tahoe Resort Ministries is sponsoring interdenominational church services on Easter Sunday, March 31, at the following ski areas. The services last 15-20 minutes and all are welcome.

Sunrise Service in Tahoe City

An Easter sunrise service will be held at Commons Beach in Tahoe City at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 31. This is a community event sponsored by the Tahoe Truckee Ministerial Association. Bring a flashlight, dress warmly for the Lake Tahoe chilly mountain morning.

Good Friday

The Tahoe Truckee Ministerial Association is sponsoring a community Good Friday Service, Friday, March 29, 7 p.m. at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Tahoe City for Stations of the Cross. The church is located at 905 West Lake Blvd., Tahoe City.
