INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Six residents are in the race to fill three seats on the Incline Village General Improvement District Board of Trustees.
The general election is set for Nov. 8. For the IVGID race, residents will be asked to vote for three of the six candidates; the top three vote-getters will be elected to the positions.
The three open seats are currently held by Jim Hammerel, Matthew Dent and Phil Horan. Hammerel is the lone trustee not to file for reelection.
In Nevada, early voting for the general elections begins on Saturday, Oct. 22.
To better inform readers heading to the polls, the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza reached out to the candidates a couple weeks ago and asked each to provide a short biography, as well as a 1,000-word maximum candidate statement.
