OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. — A celebration of life for Erik Roner, who tragically died this week, is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Squaw Valley Conference Center (aka OVL) at 1909 Chamonix Place in Olympic Valley.

Afterward, guests are invited to stay for a reception featuring beer, wine and appetizers generously donated by several local restaurants and establishments. Also, be aware there is a large sports event happening at Squaw on Saturday, which will likely create parking issues; carpooling is encouraged.

In lieu of flowers, please make a tax-free donation to the family’s memorial fund — — to help Erik’s wife, Annika, and their children, Kasper and Oskar.

The Resort at Squaw Creek has kindly offered its lot for overflow parking and will provide shuttle service to the event. For prearranged transportation, call 530-550-5300.
