Seventeen cadets from Incline High School JROTC partnered with Abbott Medical Optics on Jan. 29 to pack boxes to send to deployed soldiers serving overseas.
The boxes contained items that the soldiers often find are hard to get, such as basic toiletry items, novelty items and things to remind them of home.
Cadets participated in leadership challenges that not only helped our active-duty soldiers, but also created new friendships among Abbott Medical Optics and JROTC students
