Incline Village Boy Scouts take to the battlefield

Special to the Bonanza

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Local Incline Village Boy Scout Troop 37 participated in a Civil War reenactment event in Virginia City during the Labor Day weekend in September.

The scouts joined members of the Pacific Area Civil War Reenactors to suit up in Confederate and Union uniforms and square off against each other in a series of large-scale, mock battlefield reenactments featuring the V&T Railroad Battle Train.

The Scouts also joined in the city’s Labor Day parade. More photos are featured at the troop’s website: http://www.bsatroop37.org.
