Incline Village community notes: IVCH chamber mixer set for Oct. 13

It is the middle of October and we can still get out to enjoy favorite activities. Of course it is football season and playoff season for baseball if your prefer to stay inside. Enjoy!

Attend the mixer from 5-7 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Incline Village Community Hospital. Complimentary health screenings and flu shots will be available. Refreshments and appetizers will be served. Tours will be offered with a chance to enter a raffle for a FitBit and more. Tahoe’s Connection for Families annual Tahoe Fall Fest is Friday, Oct. 21, at the Chateau. This year’s theme is Black & White Masquerade and the proceeds will benefit Tahoe’s Connection for Families. The annual Trail of Treats and Terror community event is from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. The Trail of Treats and Terror is sponsored by IVGID Parks and Recreation, the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center, Sierra Nevada College, Lake Tahoe School, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, Washoe County Sheriff and Washoe County Constables. The trail travels from the DWR Center, to The IVGID Rec. Center, Lake Tahoe School and ends at Sierra Nevada College. This is a fun event for the children in Incline. Get your costume ready.
