Incline Village community notes: Spring just around the corner

We all know spring arrives this month and this week it is time for the annual “Spring Forward” tradition with our time. Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 12.

Be sure to set the clocks one hour ahead when you go to sleep on Saturday evening or you will be late by one hour on Sunday when you wake up!

Tickets are now on sale for the 18th annual Incline Star Follies show March 24-25 at Incline High School. Lots of local adults and students are working hard to prepare for this fun event. Stop at Potlatch to buy your tickets.

Congratulations to Ronnie Rector for receiving Best of Show in the Nevada Artists Association’s annual winter art exhibition for her watercolor Man on a Mission. The show will be up until March 31 at the NAA gallery inside the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City.

A Birthday to celebrate this week: Joe Humasti on March 13. Happy Birthday!

The Deal or Steal for this week is to attend the Bruka Theater’s presentation for children of The Bremen Town Musicians at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Incline Village Library.
