Inspired Adventure fundraiser to celebrate art, nature music

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — Inspired Adventure Spring Festival at Kindred Art and Folk Institute will offer something magical for all.

Inspired Adventure is an all-ages annual event, May 17, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., that celebrates nature, art and music while helping to raise funds for scholarships, project supplies and transportation for Kindred’s out of the studio treks.

There will be something for everyone at the Community Art Center on Church Street in Truckee, with free activities such as an obstacle course, live music, May pole dancing, drum circle, games and crafts. Other activities will include an artisan marketplace, make and take art stations, henna tattoos, wholesome food and special presentations.
