SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Police officers arrested a city resident Wednesday, Aug. 19, on charges of sexually abusing a child under 16 years old.

According to the South Lake Tahoe Police Department, Allan Delisle, 69, allegedly committed the sexual abuse against a child with disabilities, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child, oral copulation of a child under 16 years old, oral copulation of a child by force, and oral copulation of a victim with a mental disability.

Delisle did not resist arrest. He was booked into El Dorado County Jail, bail set at $1 million.

SLTPD Lt. Brian Williams said the department couldn’t reveal too many details without risking the identification of the victim.

Williams said the police department is looking for information in its investigation or cases of other incidents.

“We’re looking for the potential that there might be more victims out there,” he said Thursday.

The police department released Delisle’s photo to help with identification in case some victims couldn’t self-report.

“If that is the case, the caretakers would be able to identify the face,” Williams said.

People with information can contact the South Lake Tahoe Police Department at 530-542-6100 or the Lake Tahoe Secret Witness Program at 530-541-6800.
