Letter to the Editor: Please have a Canyon Springs meeting in Glenshire

I have issues with the Town of Truckee Council regarding the Canyon Springs proposed project.

Attempts were made in requesting a public informational meeting with the Town Council to be held at the Glenshire Elementary School. The Town denied a meeting here.

Granted, there was a DEIR meeting at Town Council building on January 29, but would it not be more prudent to have it at the school, in the hopes of an expected larger attendance?

People therefore, would not have to drive, into town.

The public who voted for the Town Council members should demand better representation through convenient meeting sites. Especially of a project of this magnitude.

For those who are unaware of this project, call the town, Save Open Space Glenshire and Mountain Area Preservation Foundation.
