INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — With the recent shift in Lake Tahoe’s weather pattern, the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District is planning on pile burning Wednesday, Jan. 28, near the Mill Creek and Eagle Drive areas.
The burn will last through the week, as weather conditions permit, according to the Incline fire district.
“Smoke resulting from the pile burns will affect the surrounding areas for approximately 24 hours,” officials said. “People who are smoke-sensitive are advised to please stay inside and close their windows and doors as much as possible until the smoke dissipates.
