TRUCKEE, Calif. — Epicureans are invited to Mountain Table on Friday, Dec. 19 from 6-9 p.m.
This premier dining experience is hosted within the iconic Zephyr Lodge atop Northstar California Resort, where guests savor the five-course menu crafted by Northstar¹s renowned executive chef, Steve Anderson, to pair with select wines by Louis M. Martini.
Special guest Mike Martini, third-generation winemaker, will guide guests through each pairing.
From The Village at Northstar, guests board the Big Springs Gondola and ascend to Zephyr Lodge for an evening of mountaintop atmosphere, live acoustic music and delicious pairings like braised Blue Oaks Ranch lamb with a 2011 Lot 1 Cabernet; wild boar meatball with a 2011 Louis Martini Napa Valley cabernet; pink peppercorn crusted venison with a 2011 Monte Rosso vineyard vintage cabernet.
