INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — On Nov. 20, Project MANA will help hundreds of families have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving through its annual Let's Talk Turkey Food Distribution in Incline Village.
For those who cannot attend, Project MANA will hold three additional Let's Talk Turkey Food Distributions that coincide with the nonprofit's regular weekly food distribution schedule.
In 2013, nearly 600 local families received turkeys through the distributions.
Thanks to generous donations from the community, each community member who signs up for Let's Talk Turkey and attends the distribution will be able to bring home a whole turkey, fresh produce and fixings for a fantastic holiday meal.
Project MANA is accepting donations of the following items: Canned yams, canned sweet potatoes, canned pumpkin, canned apple sauce, canned green beans, gravy, stuffing mix, shelf-stable milk, and 10- to 12-pound frozen turkeys
Turkey reservations are required, and you must have received Project MANA services in 2014 to qualify.
