In 2014, more than 300 local families received turkeys through Project MANA’s Let’s Talk Turkey Food Distributions.

Thanks to generous donations from the community, Project MANA can continue the Let’s Talk Turkey program in 2015 for families in North Tahoe and Truckee.

Project MANA is accepting donations of the following items: canned yams, canned sweet potatoes, canned pumpkin, canned apple sauce, canned green beans, gravy, stuffing mix, shelf-stable milk, and 10-12 pound frozen turkeys.

Turkey reservations are required and you must have received Project MANA services in 2015 to qualify. To register and reserve a turkey, call Project MANA directly at 775-298-0008 or sign up at a weekly food distribution before Nov. 12.
