INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The Incline Village/Crystal Bay Republican Women's Club is hosting a Republican Candidates' Forum on Tuesday, May 10, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chateau in Incline Village.
"This will be an opportunity for Republican candidates running in both partisan and non-partisan races to introduce themselves to the most politically aware and active people in Incline Village," the club announced in a press release this week. "The Club is also inviting representatives of the remaining active Republican presidential campaigns."
The evening will begin with informal networking. At 6:15 p.m., each candidate will be given two minutes to present his or her platform.
According to the club, candidates will also have the option of paying $25 for table space to display campaign materials.
"As of (Tuesday), 10 Republican candidates have accepted our invitation," Patricia Moser Morris, a club member, said. "They are running for U.S. Senate, State Assembly District 26, County Commissioner, University of Nevada Reno Regent, Washoe County School District Trustee, and IVGID Board of Trustees."
Tickets are $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door. The Chateau is at 955 Fairway Blvd.
