Whitney Hardy and Dan Stebbins.

Thanks for helping Whitney fight back

Whitney Hardy and Dan Stebbins along with their families would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has supported them since Whitney’s accident in February.

Whitney suffered a traumatic brain injury following an accident. She has long road to recovery so your well wishes, prayers, cards, phone calls, gifts and support at the many fundraisers are greatly appreciated by the families. It has all helped toward setting Whitney up for success and continued improvement.

After six months of hard work and perseverance at Boston Medical Center ICU, Spaulding Rehab Hospital and NeuroRestorative Facility, Whitney was able to move to her new apartment in Watertown, Mass. with 24-hour assistance. She will continue out-patient occupational, physical and speech therapy at Community Rehab Care.

Whitney would like to also thank businesses and individuals that have held and supported fundraisers in Truckee. Cake Tahoe, Wild Cherries, Truckee River Winery, Kevin Embertson, Realtor, McCarthy Signs, TIP Printing and Graphics, Specialty Beads, Kelsey Fisher, Michael Holman Cabinets, Clayton McDonnell Memorial Fund and Dan O’Gorman, Truckee-Donner Recreation & Park District have all gone above and beyond with their support and donations.

Thank you for doing what Truckee does best when supporting those in need.
