TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Tahoe City’s Lakeside is the shaking site of a Saturday night party.

Headliner DJ and producer NastyNasty can best be described as a sonic fetishist, according to press materials. From his first single on San Francisco’s Frite Nite imprint to his most recent release on the prestigious Planet Mu label, he’s established his own abstract take on contemporary bass music and defined himself as one of North America’s most unique producers.

A heavy helping of heartfelt vocal trickery and melodic sensibility accompany heavy drums and brow-raising bass sounds to construct songs that both stand as listening pieces as well as dance-floor wizardry, according to press materials.

Producing for nearly a decade under different aliases, he’s shared the stage with a diverse selection of acts including: Joker, Ludacris, Richard Devine, Starkey, Megasoid and Slugabed.

Joining him for the evening will be Los Angeles producer Annunakii, who describes his own style as a “dramatic cosmic lazer battle between good and evil” and “dramatic cosmic crunk”; and the electro, ragga, breaks and hip-hop expert El PapaChango.

Tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the door and are available at the Melting Pot World Emporium (Reno), New Moon Natural Foods (Truckee and Tahoe City), Mad About Music (South Lake Tahoe) or online at inticketing.freshbakin.com.
