Tahoe teen first runner-up in Miss Teen Nevada USA pageant

Last weekend, Incline Village resident Natasha Cook, 17, competed in the 2014 Miss Nevada Teen USA pageant at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, campus. Representing the Lake Tahoe region, Cook competed with 23 other teens in swimsuit, interview and evening gown competitions. In the end, Alexa Taylor (Summerlin, Nev.) took home the crown, while Cook won first runner-up, meaning if Taylor cannot fulfill her duties, then Cook steps in at the Miss Teen USA pageant.
