The good old summer time
We know summer is arriving when it is time for the annual Classy Garage Sale. The North Lake Tahoe Community Health Care Auxiliary’s fundraiser is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, in the parking lot at the Incline Village Community Hospital. This is a great place for special treasures!
At 9 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at Incline Middle School is Incline’s first 5K Color Run/Walk. After the run there will be a Strawberry Festival with games, food, raffle, and a silent auction.
All proceeds from the Color Run will benefit Incline Elementary PE and Wellness and all proceeds from the Strawberry Festival will benefit STREAM. Go to http://www.inclinemscr.eventbrite.com to register.

The June meeting of the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Republican Women is at 5 p.m. on June 13. Randi Thompson, Nevada State Director of the National Federation of Independent Business, will speak on “The Impact of the 2017 Session on Small Business.”
The meeting will be an evening garden party at a home on the Championship Golf Course, and includes a catered dinner. The Women’s Club of North Lake Tahoe will hold it’s monthly luncheon meeting at noon on Monday, June 19, at Indu’s Asian. This month’s meeting will spotlight longtime local realtor, Cathi Colvin, who will speak on buying and selling property in Incline Village, how to stage your home for a quick sale, as well as what to look for when purchasing a home.

The Deal or Steal for this week is to get a car wash from the eighth-grade students at Incline Middle School. They will be washing cars from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 11 at the Chevron Station at the corner of Village and Tahoe boulevards to raise money for the Incline Middle School outdoor education field trip to the Marin Headlands.
