Tickets on sale for 6th annual North Tahoe father-daughter dance

Staff report

CRYSTAL BAY, Nev. — Calling all dads, uncles and grandfathers — Tahoe SAFE Alliance is selling tickets for its sixth annual Father Daughter Dance.

This year’s dance is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 6, at the Tahoe Biltmore.

Sorry ladies, but this event is for young girls and the special men in their lives. Guests will enjoy DJ music and dancing, cake and snacks, and activity stations for all ages, according to a press release for the event.

A keepsake portrait will be available for purchase by Danielle Hankinson Photography, as well as a souvenir Flipbook by Action Flipbooks.

Last year’s sold-out event played host to nearly 500 father/daughter couples, so event promoters encourage you to get tickets early. Limited tickets will be available at the door.

Tickets are $25 for a father/daughter couple, and $5 for each additional child in advance at tahoesafealliance.org. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Proceeds go to support Tahoe SAFE Alliance, the mission of which is to end the incidence and trauma of domestic/intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and child abuse in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Call 775-298-0010 for information.

The Biltmore is also hosting dinner specials at its Bilty’s BBQ restaurant for the event. Call 775-833-6724 for information.
