Truckee Brew Fest to support youth programs, scholarships, athletics

TRUCKEE, Calif. — The Truckee Optimist Club’s 9th Annual Truckee Brew Fest will feature tasting of specialty brews from Northern California and Nevada breweries, live music, brats and dogs, silent auction, collector tasting glass, T shirts, and lots of fun on the lawn at Truckee Regional Park, Saturday, June 14, 1-5 p.m.

The annual fundraiser supports programs, sponsorships, grants and scholarships for the youth of Truckee and is a great way to kick off the summer.

Advanced tickets $25, $30 at the gate. Tickets available at Dickson Realty, Coffeebar, Tuff Beanz, Auto Glass Express Truckee, and Optimist Club members. Must be 21 and no dogs are allowed.

Designated drivers admitted free and taxis are available. All proceeds benefit programs, sponsorships, grants and major scholarships for the youth of Truckee.

This year’s Brew Fest will feature premium micro brews by Northern California and Nevada breweries. Past participating breweries have included: Fifty-Fifty Brewing Company, High Sierra Brewery, Great Basin Brewery, Undercover Ale Works, Tahoe Mountain Brewing Co., Auburn Ale House, Sierra Nevada, Knee Deep Brewing Co., Lagunitas, Drakes Brewing Co., Full Sail Brewing, Session Brewing, Boulder Beer, Bison Brewing, Beer Valley Brewing, Hoppy Brewing, High Water Brewing Co., Caldera Brewing Co., Crazy Mountain Brewing, Snow Shoe Brewing, Blue Moon Brewing, Leinenkugel, Lost Coast Brewing, Sam Adams, Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Anchor Steam, Deschutes Brewing Co., Mendocino Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., Hell or High Water Brewing, Newcastle Brewing, Woodchuck Cider Co., Mike’s Hard Cider, Ace Cider and Santa Clara Brewing Co.
