Get fired up for the 5th Annual Truckee Father’s Day RibFest & BBQ, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Truckee – Tahoe, June 15, noon-4 p.m. at Tri Counties Bank plaza.

Admission is free for an affordable and fun family event with mouth-watering ribs and a food choices to suit every palate. There will be entertainment and activities for entire family, a beer garden, live music by The Tahoe School of Music, Ben Martin and Angele and other talented musicians.

Grab the children for a kid’s corner with an Inspired Balloon artist, face painting and concessions including Elevation Hoops, La Fleur Rouge, The Bookshelf, The Truckee Donner Historical Society. Novelties include Loon’s Lemons, Cheri’s HandDipped Ice Cream, Whole Treats Bakery and Zano’s Jerky Junction to name a few.



Napa Truckee Auto Parts 4 x 4 will sponsor this year’s Show N Shine and has combined forces with High Sierra Cruisers. Take your car to display or just enjoy the beautiful cars and awesome raffle for dads and car buff.

RibFest is pleased to welcome a first-year participant, Big Blue Q of Tahoe, and Six Peak’s Grille chefs from the Resort at Squaw Creek returning to defend their title as reigning champion.



The Riley family, owners of the Hometown Sears store, has generously donated a gas barbecue valued at $400 to the RibFest raffle. The RibFest raffle supports Relay For Life of Truckee – Tahoe.
