High School Band will kick off Homecoming Week with the annual fall concert Tuesday, Sept. 30. Admission is free.

Get in the groove with rousing performances from both symphonic and jazz bands, starting at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.

Next up the band will march in the Homecoming Parade through historic downtown Truckee, Wednesday, Oct. 1 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Starting at the east end, the parade winds up at Surprise Stadium (home of the Wolverines) where junior and senior girls will battle it out for bragging rights during the Powder Puff football game.

The pep band will rally the crowd as they root for their favorite team.

Performances continue with a rally on campus for all students on Friday, Oct. 3. The week culminates for these versatile young musicians with marching band performances and rally charges during the Homecoming game on Saturday, Oct. 4.

If you can’t attend all of these events, pick a few and join the band in celebrating Truckee pride!
