Truckee Police to offer ski, snowboard, bike registration
TRUCKEE, Calif. – The Truckee Police Department recently announced the launch of its Ski, Snowboard and Bicycle Registration program in an effort to improve officers’ ability to aid locals and visitors in identifying and recovering lost or stolen skis, snowboards and bicycles.
The registration process can be done online through the following shortened link: bit.ly/VR2UER
Residents also may fill out a hard copy brochure and either mail it or turn it in to the Truckee Police Department, located at 10183 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, CA 96161.
Once a person’s information is received and entered into the department database, people may request a decal at the department, or have one mailed, that attaches to your ski, snowboard or bicycle.
