The Truckee Library will hold a virtual reality program for kids at 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21

Virtual reality is a three-dimensional, computer-generated environment created using a headset, hand controllers, and sensors. Kids, teens, and their families are invited to try out the Oculus Rift virtual reality system at the library.

The virtual experiences on offer include a visit to outer space, a roller coaster ride, and more.

The Oculus Rift virtual reality experience is recommended for ages 13 and up. No registration is required for this event.
