Voter registration deadlines loom for Washoe County

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The last day to register to vote or update your voter registration by mail in Washoe County for the November 4 General Election is Saturday, Oct. 4.

Between Oct. 6 and 14, registration and updates can only be made in person at the Washoe County Registrar of Voters Office or online using the Secretary of State’s website at nvsos.gov/.

To register in person, go to the Registrar of Voters Office at 1001 E. Ninth St., Building A, 1st floor, Reno. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Extended registration hours will begin Oct. 11. The Registrar’s Office will be open Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 11 and 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13 and 14, the Registrar’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Early voting in Washoe County takes place Oct. 18-31.

In Incline Village, you can vote early at the library at 845 Alder Ave. from Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

County residents can vote a any early voting location during the period, but must vote from their precinct on Election Day.
