Low-cost radon test kits now available to California residents
Subsidized radon test kits to California residents offered through the California Department of Health Services are now available.
The radon test kits are available by clicking the “Purchase $5 test kit” link on the Health Services Web site: http://www.dhs.ca.gov/radon/default.htm
Homes in the Sierra Nevada have been found to be more likely to have elevated concentrations of the naturally-occuring cancer-causing gas than the rest of the state.
