TAHOE CITY “-A memorial service honoring the late Chris Park will be held at the Bridgetender in Tahoe City today at 1:30 p.m.

Park, the owner of the popular brew pub and burger restaurant, passed away on the morning of Oct. 26.

The Bridgetender parking lot will be closed during the service and a tent will be set up to accommodate guests inside and outside the restaurant.

Guests are encouraged to carpool and park in the lot across the street or at 64 Acres Park.

The Chris Park Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established at Bank of the West across the street. Donations are accepted.
