Mergers could affect hundreds of agents

TAHOE CITY ” On Oct. 29, the sale of Coldwell Banker Incline Village Realty to California-based Select Group Real Estate Services was announced to agents.

With the addition of Coldwell’s approximate 185 agents and employees, Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Incline Village Realty combine for more than 700 agents and employees covering Northern California and Northern Nevada.

“The newly-expanded Coldwell Banker company is gaining the support and tools of the larger Select Group …,” said Daniel Jacuzzi,” President of the two new firms.



Two days after the Coldwell merger, on Oct. 31, the Truckee branch of Intero Real Estate Services was sold to Keller Williams.

The sixth corporate franchise opened by Intero Real Estate Firm, the Truckee office sold to Keller Williams to cut losses caused by the current market.



“I didn’t want to close my doors down,” said Anita Noble, former owner of Intero Real Estate in Truckee. “I chose not to maintain the overhead in the looming economic times.”
