With its infrastructure and Olympic history, Squaw Valley was Kransoandamp;#8217;s choice to hold the first event, one which said he could learn from before adding more festivals. There will be just a single Wanderlust again in 2010.It needs to be relatively small to make it a good experience for the festival-goers, he said after last yearandamp;#8217;s festival. Wanderlust would lose its charm if 20,000 attended. The first event revealed things that need andamp;#8220;tweaking,andamp;#8221; he said.Artists at the first festival included Common, Jenny Lewis, Spoon, Girl Talk and Midnight Twister. The stage was atop Gold Coast, which was accessed by a funital lift. Headliner Michael Franti ruptured his appendix the day before he was scheduled to perform. Hip-hop performer Common stepped in on late notice.Expanded yoga offerings, more great music, a complement of organic foods and biodynamic wines, have been added for the second Wanderlust, according to a press statementWanderlust showcases a range of teachers, classes and styles that will inspire and challenge all practitioners, from the curious beginner to longtime students. Wanderlust is produced by Velour Music Group, in conjunction with C3 Presents, which also produces Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits Music Festival, and Starr Hill Presents, which puts on Bonnaroo, Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.
