Mostly cloudy with isolated showers and afternoon thunderstorms

One more day of clouds and showers as a weakening low pressure system move east of the area tonight. Highs today are forecast to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s this afternoon with south winds 10 to 15 mph. Lows tonight are expected to drop into the upper 20s to lower 30s with clearing skies overnight.

Finally the weather turns dry and warmer on Friday as higher pressure aloft builds into Northern California. Look for highs to reach the lower to mid 60s around the lake which is near the seasonal normal for late May. Will the cool and showery weather stay away next week? Stay tuned to see if summer weather will return in the near future.
